LOCALLY
Resurrection believes in creating opportunities to serve and bless our local Mitchell community. Your contributions enable us to do the work that God has called us to in our local community.
We have specific ministries we support, like the local food pantry, as well as our own initiatives, like mission trips, retreat weekends, and various other ministry expenses that we spend your generous donations on.
WHY GIVE?
As people of God we give because God has given so much to us. God doesn't need our money, but he does want what it represents: our purposes, passions, and priorities.
We give to make a Kingdom impact locally in Mitchell, nationally, and globally through mission efforts.
We give to increase the Kingdom through our generosity so that others may truly know Jesus!
GLOBALLY
When Jesus commissioned his disciples before His ascension, He said, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."
At RLC, we take this command of making disciples of all nations very seriously, which leads us to support through missionaries and other ministries the work God is doing globally.
