The Church is a people created by God in Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit, called, and sent to bear witness to God's creative, redeeming, and sanctifying activity in the world.
We are a shelter in Jesus Christ, welcoming any and all into faith and fellowship and preparing disciples for purposeful service in the world through the transforming work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
At Resurrection Lutheran Church, we are a vibrant, multigenerational community of believers centered on the truth of God’s Word and the grace of Jesus Christ. As a congregation of the Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC), we are passionate about living out a faith that is rooted in Scripture, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and expressed through love.
In light of the Spirit and truth of Christ, all are welcome here—no matter your background, your story, or where you are on your journey of faith. We believe that church is not just a place to attend, but a people to belong to as God refines us and calls us away from our lives of sin, together. We gather to worship, grow in God’s Word, pray together, serve our community, and encourage one another in faith.
At Resurrection, you’ll find young and old worshiping side-by-side, kids laughing, voices lifted in praise, and hearts eager to follow Jesus. We’re not perfect—but we are being transformed by the perfect love of Christ.
Come as you are, and discover the joy of walking together in faith, hope, and resurrection life.
At RLC we believe that through Jesus' death and resurrection we are both redeemed out of our sin into right standing with God and reconciled with our heavenly Father. As such, we also have been given a ministry of reconciliation according to the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 5:18-20. Therefore, as redeemed and reconciled people, we seek to help others be redeemed by Christ and reconciled with their Father in heaven.
Rooted in the grace of God revealed in Jesus Christ, we seek to be a congregation of forgiven and grace-filled people, living by faith alone and empowered by the Holy Spirit to bring Christ’s love into our community. We long to see the Gospel proclaimed in both Word and Sacrament, faithfully passed from person to person and generation to generation.
The Gospel is the good news that, by grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ, humanity is reconciled to God and restored to life in His family. In Christ’s Body, the Church, we are called to live together in authentic community—gathered around Word and Sacrament—where the Holy Spirit shapes us to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Savior. It is within this Christ-centered fellowship that a divided and hurting world sees the reconciling power of the Gospel.
From the earliest days, the Church met in the temple courts and in homes, praising God, breaking bread, and devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching. In the same way, we come together to hear the Gospel proclaimed, to encourage one another, and to be continually refined and transformed by the Holy Spirit. God has not only reconciled us to Himself through Christ but has knit us together as His people. In worship, in community, and in the shared study of Scripture, He shapes us into the likeness of Jesus and strengthens us for His mission.
